  • Mode of Action

    It is a Plant growth Regulator belongs to class Auxin. Formation of abscission layer takes place at the base of ptiole. This abscission(detachment of plant part) is believed to be due to dissolution of middle lamella or primary walls in abscissic acid. In this case NAA controls levels of abscissic acid and prevents premature flower and fruit drop. It is being commercially used in cotton, apple, pear, mango, chilli and other vegetables.

  • Application

    Superfix is economical and effective when use in recommended concentrations. To prepare the standard solution of (10 ppm), dilute at the rate of 1 ml. of Superfix in 4.5 L of water. Apply Superfix solution with the help of Power operated sprayer thoroughly on the plants till the point of runoff. It should be sprayed during the cool part of the day avoiding excessive dry and hot days. To achieve satisfactory results correct dilution of Superfix should be prepared and at right stage of the plant growth in accordance with the recommendations.

  • Compatibility

    Superfix is compatible with most pesticides, which are commonly in use, as well as with 1 % urea at times used as a foliar nutritional spray. Care must be taken to mix agricultural chemicals together just immediately before use. Avoid mixing Superfix with alkaline compounds such as Lime, sulphur wash and Nicotine Sulphate.

    Superfix is known to be safe for the crops in the Recommended dilution. However avoid application dry and hot summer days.
